About Me

Hello, my name is Galilea.

Thank you for reading my book.

Let me tell you a little about myself.

I graduated from Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology with a degree in BS Marine Biology. I grew up in the City of Dipolog, Mindanao.

I worked as a Medical Representative before but now I co-manage our family’s retail business.

I met my husband Kiel Andrew in college, and we’ve been happily married since 2016. I’m a fur momma to Rafa, our beagle. We now reside in the province of Bulacan.

Ever since we got married, my husband and I wanted to start our own family. However, God has His own plan for our lives.

In 2018, I suffered two miscarriages.  This has led me to write a book about my experience entitled “From Mourning to Praise; Praising God in the Despair of Miscarriage.”

It not only talks of the sad realizations of miscarriage but aims to give hope and comfort to mothers who have suffered this pain.

More importantly, I want to share the Bible principles and verses which have helped me through the most difficult times of my life.

In early 2019, I was diagnosed with Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APAS) which we found out was the cause of my pregnancy losses. I have since started to read and research about women’s health and fertility to help other mothers like me.

Not just to help those who are struggling to have children of their own, but to promote a balance of spiritual, mental, physical and emotional well-being.

Through service and faith, I am still hoping that one day, God will grant us our most fervent desire. He knows what is best for us and we should trust His ways.
